1. Overview

Odoo19 provides a complete equipment and asset maintenance management (Maintenance) functional module, supporting enterprises in the digital management of the entire lifecycle of equipment, including:

  • Device Filing and QR Code Management
  • Warranty and Maintenance Plan
  • Maintenance Work Order and Field Service
  • Spare parts and inventory linkage
  • Cost accounting and statistical reports
  • Support mobile QR code maintenance and on-site confirmation

2. Basic Equipment Management

2.1 Equipment Archive

Support the establishment of basic device information, including:

  • Device Name and Code
  • Specification Model / Serial Number / Asset Number
  • Supplier / Manufacturer / Purchase Date / Activation Date
  • Department / Installation Location
  • Current status (in use, shutdown, scrapped, under repair)
  • Warranty period, maintenance cycle
  • Associated images and data attachments

2.2 Device QR Code

Odoo supports automatic generation of QR codes for:

  • Scan QR code on mobile to view device information
  • Scan QR code to create a maintenance work order

When creating a maintenance work order, the system automatically determines:

  • If still under warranty → use manufacturer's warranty and record cost as 0
  • If out of warranty → switch to internal repair or purchase spare parts
