金蝶靈基對壘用友YonClaw:國產ERP的AI操作系統爭奪戰

On May 20, two highly synchronized events occurred in China's enterprise software industry: Kingdee released its enterprise AI operating system "Lingji" in Shenzhen, while Yonyou's YonClaw exclusive invitation codes were opened on the same day. This is no coincidence.

Two major domestic ERP giants revealed their AI cards on the same day. The competition behind this is not about whose model is stronger, but who is qualified to define the standards of the enterprise AI era—that is, when companies purchase AI capabilities in the future, will they follow Kingdee's approach or Yonyou's path.

Two Hole Cards: Spirit Base vs YonClaw, What's the Difference

First, let's lay both cards on the table. There is a fundamental difference in positioning between the two, and they are not competing in the same dimension.

Comparison DimensionKingdee "Lingji"Yonyou "YonClaw"
Core PositioningEnterprise AI Operating SystemEnterprise Super Agent
Design ConceptAI-native, designed from scratch with a new paradigmNative integration, embedding AI into the existing BIP system
Core CompetenciesComplete stack of agent development + orchestration + operation + governance; using finance as the hub to connect the entire enterprise in real timeUnderstand the task objective → Plan the execution path → Mobilize skills and systems, completing the entire process from questioning to execution.

Security CertificationPassed the relevant standard tests of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology; proposed a "deep security architecture" for the Agent era.Passed the "Enterprise-level Claw-like Intelligent Agent Security Capability Assessment Certification" of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology

One-sentence summary: Kingdee is building the "next-generation ERP," while Yonyou is developing the "AI upgrade package for this generation of ERP." There is no superiority or inferiority between these two paths, but the customer base and replacement costs differ by an order of magnitude.

Why Now: The Dual Window of Domestic Substitution and AI Transformation

To understand this move, one must consider the overlap of two time windows:

  • Domestic substitution enters the deep-water zone. Yonyou's public data shows that it has replaced SAP and Oracle systems for over 270 central and state-owned enterprises. The significance of this lies in: once SAP is replaced, subsequent AI upgrades are highly likely to continue using Yonyou's system, as the migration cost is too high.
  • Definition rights for AI operating systems are up for grabs.SAP unveiled the "Autonomous Enterprise" vision at the 2026 Sapphire Conference, but implementation in the Chinese market requires localized adaptation. Kingdee and Yonyou both see this gap—whoever defines the standards for enterprise AI operating systems first will continue to reap benefits in the second phase of domestic substitution (AI upgrade).
Kingdee chose to release Lingji on May 20, timing it perfectly one day before the national AI agent evaluation standards (submitted for review on May 21). Those in the know understand the rhythm.

What this means for customers

If you are the CIO of a manufacturing company, the choices you face now are roughly these three:

Option 1: Wait for SAP/Oracle's AI version to land in China. The timeline is uncertain, compliance risks are uncertain, and the price is likely not cheap.

Option 2: Adopt Kingdee Lingji. Suitable for enterprises that have not yet deeply integrated with a specific ERP system, or for greenfield scenarios involving newly established subsidiaries or factories. The AI-native architecture is theoretically more flexible, but its ecosystem maturity requires verification.

Option 3: Activate YonClaw on the basis of Yonyou BIP. Suitable for central state-owned enterprises and large groups that are already Yonyou customers. There is no need to overhaul existing systems, but the upper limit of AI capabilities is constrained by the openness of the current architecture.

There is a practical issue that few people mention: The switching cost in the ERP market is extremely high; once you choose, you are locked in for at least 5-8 years. So Kingdee is desperately trying to carve out market share among large clients, while Yonyou is desperately trying to hold onto the central state-owned enterprises it has already secured—the essence of this war is the ownership of the AI foundation for Chinese enterprises over the next five years.

Odoo's position in this landscape

Speaking of which, let me also mention Odoo. The main subjects of the above discussion are heavyweight ERPs aimed at large/medium-sized enterprises, but there are also a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises in China—they either use Kingdee Jingdouyun, Yonyou Changjietong, or still use Excel.

Odoo's opportunity lies in: The battlefield for Lingji and YonClaw is mid-to-large enterprises, while the AI+ERP needs of small and medium-sized enterprises are currently not being seriously addressed by anyone. Odoo's open-source nature and modular architecture theoretically make it more suitable for quickly integrating various large models and implementing lightweight AI enhancements—such as automatically generating sales quotes, intelligently matching suppliers, and predicting inventory replenishment points. These scenarios do not require "operating system" level heavy weaponry, but can solve the real pain points of small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises.

The current problem is that no vendor in the domestic Odoo ecosystem has seriously taken on this task. Kingdee and Yonyou are both focused on large clients, which may present a window of opportunity for Odoo's partners.

What to Watch Next

The true outcome of this showdown will not be known within 2026. However, there are several signals worth tracking continuously:

  • Kingdee Lingji's first major customer signing announcement — whether it can break into large conglomerates from the growth market is the only standard to test if "AI-native" truly has an advantage;
  • Yonyou YonClaw's actual delivery cases — currently still in the invitation code stage, whether verifiable ROI data can be provided in Q3 2026 will determine the speed of market acceptance;
  • National AI Agent Evaluation Standards Officially Released — Industry Reactions: Once the standards are implemented, AI operating systems that do not meet safety specifications will be barred from procurement by central and state-owned enterprises, which imposes hard constraints on both parties.
