Each data band may have a header band and a footer band. The header band is output first, followed by the records of the data band, and then the footer band. Below is an example of how header and footer bands are displayed:

It is very intuitive to see that the header band is output before the data band. Therefore, the header band of the main table is output once at the beginning of the entire report, while the header band of the sub-table is output once before each sub-table band is output. The footer band of the main table is output once only after all detail records have been output.
By setting the "FooterAfterEach" property of the data band, the behavior of the footer band can be redefined. When this property is set to True (which can also be set from the right-click menu "Footer After Each Row"), the footer band is displayed after each row of data. This feature is useful in certain master-detail tables. If the "FooterAfterEach" of the master table is set to True, the report might look like this:
